ロバート・A・ハインライン賞は、2003年にハインライン協会によって設立され、「人類の宇宙探査に刺激を与える優れたSFおよび技術論文」に贈られます。[1] [2]この賞は著名なSF作家ロバート・A・ハインラインにちなんで名付けられ、ボルチモアSF協会によって運営されています。毎年1名以上の受賞者に授与されます。

ロバート・A・ハインライン賞は、芸術家アーリン・ロビンズが描いたロバート・A・ハインラインの肖像が刻まれたスターリングシルバーのメダルです。メダルには、赤、白、青のストラップが付いています。[3]
