Inside (stylised as InSIDE) is a reality competition streaming television series created and hosted by British YouTube group the Sidemen, first premiered on 2 June 2024 on the Sidemen YouTube channel.[2] The series features celebrity and internet personality contestants who compete in challenges to secure a prize fund totalled at £1 million, with everything they buy or do costing money from the prize fund.[3]

In November 2024, the Sidemen announced a second series along with Inside: USA, both of which would be shown on Netflix.[4][5] The second series premiered on 16 March 2025, while the first series of Inside: USA was released on 21 September 2025.

Premise

Contestants are selected to stay in a house for a week where they compete in various challenges throughout their stay. Failure in these challenges results in the loss of money from the final prize. In addition to this, contestants are given access to a tuck shop, which features a small selection of goods. The cost of the products is taken from the prize fund, with the items having a significant markup in order to deter contestants from getting them.[6] There are challenges the contestants do as a team. If they lose in the challenges, the prize fund goes down. There is also a temptation room. When selected the contestant enters the temptation room and must stay in the room for 30 minutes alone with no communication with the other contestants. If a contestant gives in to temptation the prize fund goes down.[citation needed]

Eliminations usually happen by the other contestants voting. With five contestants left a challenge is played. This time instead of money being at stake eliminations are at stake. The challenge is played until two contestants are left.[citation needed]

At the start of the game the contestants were told there can only be one winner, however in a twist the last two contestants left are given a split or steal dilemma.[citation needed]

Broadcast

The series 1 premiere and finale were streamed on the Sidemen YouTube channel, with episodes 2–6, and a special best unseen bits, being uploaded to the MoreSidemen channel.[citation needed] Alongside this, uncut full length versions of the episodes were made available via the Sidemen's paid subscription service, Side+. Series 2 was shown exclusively on Netflix worldwide[7] with companion shows available on Side+.[8][9]

Notes
  • ^Note 1 : The finalists participated in a game called "Pyramid Scheme" in which they would be randomly selected to pick up a pyramid and read to themselves what it said inside. All pyramids either said "Safe, or said “Eliminated." Another finalist was then randomly called to decide whether to take the pyramid or leave it for the other contestant. Cinna, PK Humble, and Mya Mills all went through to the final round, while Jason, George Clarkey, and DDG were eliminated.
  • ^Note 2 :In the final round, the three remaining finalists participated in "Split or Steal," in which they could choose to split the remaining £293,672 remaining from the prize pool amongst the three of them, or steal it for themselves. The three remaining finalists, Cinna, PK Humble, and Mya Mills, all decided to split the money, winning £97,891 each and being crowned the winners of Inside S2.
